A south Auckland driving clas is inventing its motors with hilarity after being offering two brand new vehicles .
Construction company Fulton Hogan gifted the Holden Barinas to charity Behind the Wheel, which works to reduce the high-pitched sound rate among young drivers .
Fulton Hogan Auckland regional manager Matthew MacMahon handed over the cars and their keys to the Mangere-based charity on June 12.
Spokeswoman Maree Mahony alleges the business initially acquired a Nissan ute importance $62,000 in a advertising run by Bunnings Warehouse .
The company swapped the ute for two Holden Barina vehicles to give to Behind the Wheel .
MacMahon mentions the small vehicles are a better fit for young person driving for the first time .
" They're[ Behind the Wheel] so grateful to receive the cars and were planning to use them for lessons from the next day onward ."
Pikura Purotu, one of the charity's managers, speaks the donation have been instrumental in equip its driving shops .
" We've been approaching patrons for a used auto for months without success .
" Not in my wildest dreams did I think we'd end up with two new vehicles ."
Being a licensed driver can help people with employment and job security, she remarks .
" We look forward to the day when a person who's to gain access to driver's licence as a result of the Behind the Wheel programme becomes an employee of Fulton Hogan ."
Behind the Wheel is corroborated and funded the NZ Transport Agency, ACC and Auckland Transport .
It helps young people gain the supporter and sciences they need in their driving permission journey .
The organisation offers seminars and years for youngsters to coach them how to drive safely and guide them through the process of going their licence .
Applicants can take readings or seminars at a subsidised premium with qualified teachers who help them at each licensing theatre .
