A south Auckland driving institution is rotating its rotates with exuberance after being offering two brand new vehicles .
Construction company Fulton Hogan gave the Holden Barinas to charity Behind the Wheel, which works to reduce the high-pitched hurtle charge among young motorists .
Fulton Hogan Auckland regional administrator Matthew MacMahon handed over the cars and their keys to the Mangere-based charity on June 12.
Spokeswoman Maree Mahony remarks the business initially triumphed a Nissan ute value $62,000 in a publicity run by Bunnings Warehouse .
The company swapped the ute for two Holden Barina autoes to give to Behind the Wheel .
MacMahon pronounces the small vehicles are a better fit for young people driving for the first time .
" They're[ Behind the Wheel] so grateful to receive the cars and were planning to use them for lessons from the next day onward ."
Pikura Purotu, one of the charity's overseers, supposes the donation will help to furnished its driving workshops .
" We've been approaching patrons for a ill-used vehicle for months without success .
" Not in my wildest dreams did I think we'd be brought to an end with two brand-new vehicles ."
Being a licensed driver can help people with jobs and job security, she mentions .
" We look forward to the day when a person who's to gain access to driver's licence as a result of the Behind the Wheel programme becomes an employee of Fulton Hogan ."
Behind the Wheel is reinforced and money the NZ Transport Agency, ACC and Auckland Transport .
