A south Auckland driving school is revolving its rotations with exhilaration after being offering two brand new vehicles .
Construction company Fulton Hogan gave the Holden Barinas to charity Behind the Wheel, which works to reduce the high-pitched crash charge among young motorists .
Fulton Hogan Auckland regional manager Matthew MacMahon handed over the cars and their keys to the Mangere-based philanthropy on June 12.
Spokeswoman Maree Mahony alleges the business initially prevailed a Nissan ute merit $62,000 in a publicity run by Bunnings Warehouse .
The company swapped the ute for two Holden Barina gondolas to gift to Behind the Wheel .
MacMahon mentions the small vehicles are a better fit for young people driving for the first time .
" They're[ Behind the Wheel] so grateful to receive the cars and were planning to use them for lessons from the next day onward ."
Pikura Purotu, one of the charity's administrators, remarks the donation will help to gave its driving workshops .
" We've been approaching sponsors for a used vehicle for months without success .
" Not in my wildest dreams did I think we'd end up with two brand-new vehicles ."
Being a licensed driver can help people with employment and job security, she adds .
" We look forward to the day when a person who's gained their driver's licence as a result of the Behind the Wheel programme becomes an employee of Fulton Hogan ."
Behind the Wheel is patronage and money the NZ Transport Agency, ACC and Auckland Transport .
It helps young people gain the reinforcement and talents they need in their driving license travel .
The organisation offers seminars and categories for youngsters to coach them how to drive safely and leader them through the process of getting their licence .
Applicants can take exercises or shops at a subsidised expenditure with qualified teaches who help them at each licensing theatre .
